Sometimes faithfulness looks simple: take a 10–20 minute walk without your phone, notice what is around you, and let the movement quiet your soul. Elijah’s story reminds us that God often meets depletion with rest, nourishment, and strength, not rebuke.

Long version

Sometimes the next faithful step is literally a step.

Take a 10–20 minute walk without scrolling. Notice five things you see, four things you feel, and three things you hear. Let movement become prayer instead of pressure.

Biblical anchors: 1 Kings 19:5–8; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20.

Commentary: When Elijah was depleted, God did not begin with a lecture. He met him with sleep, food, and strength for the road ahead. That is a needed reminder for us: the body is not an inconvenience to the soul. Caring for the body can steady the mind.

Today’s practice is simple: walk, breathe, and ask God for grace for the next step, not the next fifty.
