Hope Is Not Pretending

Biblical hope is not pretending everything is fine. It is not spiritual glitter sprinkled over grief. Hope looks pain in the face and says, “God is still here.”
The Psalms teach us that faith can include tears, questions, and honest lament. God is not afraid of your real emotions. You do not have to clean up your heart before bringing it to Him.
Hope is not denial. Hope is rooted in the character of God. Because He is faithful, your story is not over. Because He is near, your sorrow is not lonely. Because Christ is risen, darkness does not get the final word.
