Growing up in a church setting, I learned to love God, although, I did not grasp the full measure of the Gospel. By my early teens, I felt a strong calling to the nations but did not understand exactly how or what that would look like (and if I am being honest, God is still revealing this to me). As a senior in high school, I developed a strong desire to study the human body and started on the path to study medicine. This path would eventually lead to sin, redemption, deliverance, and freedom. Through everything, the Lord was faithful even when I was not. This enlightened a new understanding of the Gospel and ignited in me a resurrection of the original calling to the nations. My passion is building a church that understands and operates in the full measure of the gospel and raising up the children of God. My desire is to bring the Gospel and medicine into one accord since all healing is from the Lord.

Jamie Barnes
PA, LCPC

Hello, my name is Jamie. I am a Florida native but have called Great Falls my home since 2003. I love to fish, whether in the Gulf of Mexico or the Mighty Mo; there are few things better in life. One of those better things is my wonderful wife, to whom I have been married since 1984. We have 2 children and four grandchildren, a few more of life’s better things.

I have been working in health care for most of my life. I became a Physician Assistant in 1998 and have been working in medicine since. I have evaluated and treated multiple medical and psychological issues over those years. I believe God has formed each one of us with mind, body, and spirit. Many times, when one part is unhealthy, the other parts become unhealthy. To understand how each works synergistically, I completed a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program through Liberty University. I am now a Mental Health Counselor and a Physician Assistant and look forward to partnering with you on your journey of self-discovery.

Josh Holloway
CEO, Owner, LCPC

I am a man of faith & family. I am married to an amazing woman, and have 4 fabulous kids! We love to spend time with friends and their families and enjoy gaming together as nerdy as that may sound.

I genuinely love people and helping. I very much consider myself a guide or a partner with my patients. Many of us have answers lurking under the surface, those answers that seem so far out of reach. Therefore, we lay awake at night, often get stuck in situations we see no way out. It is my goal to help you narrow down your thoughts and focus them on goals, which in turn help you find peace and learn again how to make the world small.

I do so through collaboration with other professionals and people (Natural Supports) you already have built into your life. As a guide, the patient and I collaborate and walk through the therapeutic process together. Operating from: Bibliotherapy, ACT, CBT, and psychodynamic perspectives we team up and work toward helping you find freedom! Bringing back “hope” that in today’s world is often a fleeting or unimaginable pastime.

Anna Rosteck
Clinical Supervisor, LCSW

Hello! My name is Anna Rosteck. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God, and a Missionary to Tanzania, Africa. I’ve been working in mental health for 15 years, and have a passion for showing God’s love to others. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.

Roberta Powell
Clinical Supervisor

Greetings! My name is Roberta (Berta) Powell, and I was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana. My husband, Larry, and I have two grown sons and daughters-in-law and are the proud grandparents of 3 grandchildren, ages 5, 13, and 15. We enjoy camping, gardening, and feeding our friends and family!

As a 1999 graduate of U.G.F. (now the University of Providence), I became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in 2001, and have served women, children, couples, and families in this community ever since. I especially enjoy working with depressed and anxious women, helping families through empowering moms. I am a believer that “change comes in relationship,” and focus heavily on the importance of a healthy attachment process in both brain development and healing.

I have known Josh Holloway since 2011, and have witnessed his strong commitment to helping individuals and families improve their functioning and relationships. Having been Josh’s clinical supervisor as he worked toward licensure, I was honored when he asked me to join Open Door as both a clinician and supervisor of clinical interns. I am looking forward to mentoring a new generation of competent and compassionate therapists, as we serve our community together!

Katie Ndongala

My passion for spiritual and mental health coincided in college in 2008 when I took my first psychology class! I studied Counseling in Texas and got a Masters in Social Work in New York.

In New York, I worked in a youth homeless shelter. My husband and I have worked with youth for the last seven years and work together to bring health to individuals & families.

My passion is helping people become healthy and whole, one step at a time so that they can live life in healthy relationships.

I am married to an amazing man and have two wonderful kids! We spend a lot of time together relaxing and enjoying the everyday moments with family and friends.

Ruxandra Fee
Mental Health Intern, LAC

Hello, my name is Ruxandra Fee. I am married and have two adult sons. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy hiking, gardening, traveling, and reading.

I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). I have a Bachelor in Addiction Counseling and Psychology from the University of Providence. My long-term goal is to obtain a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling necessary to succeed in any counseling-related occupation. I am currently working towards my Master of Science in Counseling.

My personal life experiences have helped me become empathetic and able to walk alongside individuals experiencing the consequences of substance abuse. My experiences have given me insight into mental illness and a strong desire to educate myself to become a counselor to help other victims of psychological trauma find freedom. I lived and worked in three different countries and am trilingual, speaking English, German, and Romanian. This life experience has helped me to become culturally sensitive to multicultural individuals and immigrants and aware of the struggles they experience. Speaking German also helped me to become accustomed to the culture of the Hutterite colonies.

I am a born and raised Montana girl who enjoys exploring, reading, just having fun with friends, watching good movies, and much more.

Part of the much more would be what I am privileged to do for my work. I love watching the transformation that can happen in people and part of that transformation happens in the body. I love getting to be a part of people finding healing or even just letting go of stresses. Thank you for the privilege of allowing me to work with you!

Tarin

Tarin Pellett
Clinical Receptionist

Hi there! I’m Tarin, the first friendly face you see when you walk in the door or a likely voice you’ll hear when you give us a call. I am so thankful to be a part of Open door and all it has to offer. I work with some amazing people and I can’t wait for you to meet them too!

Although I’m Montana-born, I moved around a lot growing up and ended up in Las Vegas for 10 years before returning in 2020. When my first winter hit I wondered why I left 24/7 sun, warmth, and food for freezing wind and restaurants that close at 9 pm. However, with this amazing opportunity at Open Door, a house full of plants, 2 beautiful fur babies, and my better half I found a way to create my own little world indoors throughout the freezing months. Once it warms up the 4 of us enjoy coffee on the patio, follow the sun and end up in interesting places
